Farmer’s Wife Sampler (FWS)

For the past few days, I had been browsing the Internet looking for samples of the quilt by other quilters. The quilts are based from this book by Laurie Aaron Hird (Wish I can buy this book..)

Some of the samples from Google Image  that inspired me to join other quilters that had already completed their FWS samplers.

The samplers consists of 111 blocks. I don’t think so that I will complete all blocks, Thinking of creating 2 wall hangings and finish out scraps that I had accumulated all this while.

Templates for the first 50 blocks had been printed, and sorted into 3 categories – Rectangle, Triangle and Odd pieces. Also found this 6.5 in template to make sure that all blocks are of the same size.

So, I am set to go……Wish me luck to complete this quilt.
